Blue Scaup Duck is the Annual bird for year 2004 and this is a matte version of her Egg. The Egg is hand blown in Nuutajärvi, the legendary glass factory in Finland.
The egg is of yellow glass of the same color as the bird and is decorated with a blue and white line with blue-white dots along it, in a color that correspond to the blue on the bird's wings. However the surface on this egg is matte unlike the normal shiny version. It is very rare to find a matt version like this egg model!
