This is an early Willow Grouse in a rare color. This specific Willow Grouse features a heavily speckled variation of the classic model. The Willow Grouse (Riekko) was one of the first birds included in the Birds by Toikka collection, in year 1981, along with the Long -Tailed Duck, the Pheasant and the tiny Ptarmigan. It has been a very popular bird, and was in production for a long time.
