The Willow Grouse (Riekko) was one of the first birds included in the Birds by Toikka collection, in year 1981, along with the Long -Tailed Duck, the Pheasant and the tiny Ptarmigan.
It has been a very popular bird, and was in production for a long time.
Willow Grouse and Ptarmigan are both presented in the new Toikka book "Toikka's Glassbirds" on page 21.
In the last few pictures you see this bird together with some interesting rare Riekko variants of ours.
