This rare white little bird looks very much like the Sinisukka bird, but is made of opaque white glass and also the head is non lucent white.
The bird is hand made in the legendary Nuutajärvi glass factory, and is designed by professor Oiva Toikka.
The size of the bird lies between the size of a Golden Crested Kinglet and a Little Tern.
If "Sinisukka" would be "Blue Sock" translated into English, then this bird could perhaps use the nickname "Valkosukka" ("White sock")
Enjoy the group photos! We now have also two yellow variants of the same shape and size. On the last one of the photos this bird also poses with some Wheathers. But this bird is signed with sandblasting so it is a later bird than the wheathers and it is made of a different type of white glass.
