This is a special bird called Valkyyria (Valkyrie). It is a large white bird with a spectacular tail and a lot of lustered spots on the body and tail. The beak is lustered. It is a rare bird limited to only 250 numbered pieces that were made in year 2010-2012.
Design by famous professor Oiva Toikka and hand made in the legendary Nuutajärvi glass factory in Finland. Valkyyria is described on page 164 in the book "Toikan Lasilinnut-Toikka's Glass Birds".
This Valkyyria is number 11/250. On the last photo Valkyrie and Ladybird are together.
