"Species of Tern" is an impressive seabird. This was among the first designs with a split tail by Oiva Toikka. It was produced in a numbered series from year 1988-1992. In Finnish this bird is called Räyskä, which is the Finnish name for Caspian tern.
The bird was made in Finland in the legendary Nuutajärvi glass village. The design has a matte surface.
This individual is born with a slightly uneven length of the two parts of the tail. It is numbered E 1305/3000.
