"Species of Tern". A very impressive seabird. In Finnish this bird is called Räyskä, which is the name for Caspian tern in Finnish. This was among the first designs with a split tail by Oiva Toikka. It was produced in a numbered series from year 1988-1992.
The bird is made in Finland in the legendary Nuutajärvi glass village. The design has a matte surface and this individual is a large one measuring about 33cm from beak to tail.
