A rare "Red Bird for University of Technology" - Teknillinen Korkeakoulu. (Today Aalto University).

Design by famous professor Oiva Toikka in 1993. This is a ruby-red bird with lustered stripes.

On page 148 in the book "Birds by Toikka".

There is also another Special bird for the University of Technology from 1990, a smaller red one with silver stripes. The pattern on these birds are inverse in the way that on the small bird the stripe bundle on each side opens upwards and on the larger bird this opens in the opposite direction.
