This intensive cobalt blue little bird called Sinisukka was blown as a special edition at Nuutajärvi glass factory in 1997 only. As a consequence of the short production time this bird type is quite rare. The design is by professor Oiva Toikka.
The size of the bird is between the size of a Golden Crested Kinglet and a Little Tern.
The head is clear. "Sinisukka" would translate into English as "Blue Sock".
We now also have a rare white special bird of the same size and two special yellow birds and a metallic lustred small bird of the same shape and size as the Sinisukka bird. These birds look somewhat like large sized Golden-Crested Kinglet birds. Enjoy the group photo!
