Designed by famous professor Oiva Toikka in year 2002, Sinikki was commissioned exclusively by the City of Vantaa, Finland, as a commemorative gift for long-serving employees celebrating round years. It was never offered for sale in stores. This Sinikki bird was hand made at the Iittala glass factory in Finland.
