This is the handsome Oraskahlaaja Annual bird produced for SSKK 2005. These are rarely for sale nowadays. As the other SSKK birds, Oraskahlaaja birds were produced in a very limited number, only that year and only for SSKK-book store club members to buy.
The bird is made of light green glass with entchanting controlled air bubbles and a light blue head and tail.
The design is by famous professor Oiva Toikka and the bird is hand made in the legendary glass hut in Nuutajärvi in Finland.
This bird is in a very good condition with two minor surface scratches on the right side that are difficult to spot and even more difficult to catch on the photos.
