This is a rare vintage bird, the very first bird for Finnish Book Store designed by Oiva Toikka in 1981 called Muirenlintu. This model is very seldom for sale. It has glimmering drop-like foamy luster decorations on a blue base colored body.
Hand made in legendary Nuutajärvi glass factory in Finland. Signed Oiva Toikka Nuutajärvi Notsjö. A bird from the early production. This model is presented in the book "Toikan Lasilinnut - Toikka's Glass Birds" on page 21.
