This is a beautiful golden beige appearing variant of the Long-Tailed Duck, with golden metallic surface luster and cream white stripes. This is is not a very common variant.
Long-tailed Duck was in production for many years, from 1981-2009, and over the years some change in both coloration and shape took place. Also special variants have been commissioned for different organizations or companies.
The Long-Tailed Ducks are presented on page 20 and 350 in the new book "Toikan Lasilinnut - Toikka's Glass Birds".
