This is an interesting color variant of the classic Long-Tailed Duck, with stripes with an almost rose-orange tint on a green base with a slight golden luster on top.
Long-Tailed Ducks were made for a quite long period: 1981-2009. Over the years there was quite a large variation both in shape and colors and the signature changed from the early long version to the shorter ones.
The Long-Tailed Ducks are presented on page 20 and 350 in the book "Toikan Lasilinnut - Toikka's Glass Birds".
In the last photos you can compare this bird with two other Long-Tailed Ducks of ours. The bluish one is signed with sandblasting and the one with the round shape is the earliest variant and is signed Oiva Toikka Nuutajärvi Notsjö.
