This is a rare Kareliabird. It is described on page 54 in the book "Birds by Toikka" and on page 40 and 87 in the new book "Toikan Lasilinnut - Toikka's Glassbirds".
It is red and white, with black-grey marbled wings. This individual has an elongated air bubble on the breast. The bubble is located well under the surface. See pictures. This bird is unsigned.
Design is by famous professor Oiva Toikka and the bird was hand made in the legendary glass hut in Nuutajärvi in Finland.
