A very delicate light blue Trophy by Kaj Franck, KF539, with luster on the foot, and the base of the foot made of neodymium glass that magically changes color from purple in bright sunshine to light blue in cold light, see photos.
This item is signed Kaj Franck Nuutajärvi Notsjö.
The Trophys were in production at Nuutajärvi glass hut in 1968-1971. Different sizes and several different color combinations of the KF539 were made. These items are called "Pokaali" in Finnish.
A special technique was used when combining the different color layers. Colorful art objects like these in happy colors by Kaj Franck were planned as Art glass items but they are also usable as cheerful small bowls.
This delicate light blue Trophy is in a very good vintage condition, with little normal wear but no chips nor cracks.
