This yellow bowl on a white-grey marbled foot is a beautiful color variant of the big Trophy KF539 designed by famous Finnish designer Kaj Franck in 1968.
This Goblet is signed Kaj Franck Nuutajärvi Notsjö.
Different sizes and several different color combinations of the KF539 were produced. They are called "Pokaali" in Finnish.
A special technique was used when kombinating the different color layers. Art objects like these by Kaj Franck were planned as Art glass items but they are also very usable as colorful bowls.
This very enchanting yellow vintage goblet has only unnoticeable signs of use, no chips or cracks. It has some of the original Arabia silver sticker left.
There is an inborn linear irregularity in the spread of color within the glass, best seen from the inside of the cupola at the upper border.
We also photographed this bowl together with our smaller light blue Trophy by Kaj Franck, which is also a rare color variant. That one is for sale elsewhere on this site.
