A beautiful tiny sommer sceene called "In the Sommer Wind", with frosted blue frame by Heljä Liukko-Sundström. The ceramic painting is ca 6,3cm wide and the plate is ca 11cm wide and 11,5cm high.
It comes in its original box on which there is written a poem (in four languages). The box has some signs of wear. The plate seems unused.
This plate is part of a series of Wall Plates by Heljä Liukko -Sundström from 2000 with four different motives:
In the Sommer Wind ("Kesätuulessa")
At the Peninsula of Finland ("Suomenniemellä")
At Korvatunturi (=the home base of Santa Claus) ("Korvatunturilla")
In Lapland ("Lapinmaassa")
There are also two other series of four plates of this same size with frosted light blue frames by Heljä Liukko-Sundström. One is from 1985 and the other is from 1992
