This is a rare numbered Grebe Sand glass bird, design by famous professor Oiva Toikka and hand made in legendary Nuutajärvi glass factory in Finland. It is sand color with controlled air bubbles, a clear head and a lustered beak.
It was limited to only 200 numbered pieces making this a rare item!
The Sand Grebe is described on page 168 in the book "Toikan Lasilinnut-Toikka's Glass Birds".
