This is a very tiny, well formed, qute Golden-Crested Kinglet bird in a rare lucent lemon color.
The Golden-Crested Kinglet is a quite early bird type. These mini birds were first made already in 1983. Each miniature bird has individual features!
You can find the Golden-Crested Kinglet birds on page 21 in the book "Birds by Toikka". In the new book "Toikka's Glass Birds - Toikan Lasilinnut" these are presented on page 24. These birds were in production for a whole decade and as a result there are many sizes, colors and shapes. Some were also produced on commission.
For size and color comparison you see in the last pictues this bird together with a cobalt blue Little Tern and a Sinisukka bird and some other small birds.
