Thisbis the original green-brown Forest Plover, Metsätylli, is a special rare bird that was made only for Stockmann's 150th Anniversary in year 2012. In 2013 both a yellow and a red variant was made, and in 2014 also a small egg with green and brown pattern followed.
This is a beautiful individual, white with emerald green and brown green feather markings and a greenish lustered head.
Design by famous professor Oiva Toikka and hand made in legendary Nuutajärvi in Finland.
This bird is described on page 170 in the book "Toikan Lasilinnut-Toikka's Glass Birds".
