A vintage Flycatcher Red on foot with clear wings and a green beak. This is a rare color combination red with clear wings. It was hand made in the legendary glass hut in Nuutajärvi Finland. This handsome bird was exceptionally well made. The wings are very smooth and nicely made. Also the condition is exceptionally good.
The Flycatchers were the birds that professor Oiva Toikka got famous for in the 1970s and later he designed many other bird models.
The flycatchers are described on page 9-11 in the book "Toikan Lasilinnut - Toikka's Glass Birds"
