A cute small Chick by famous professor Oiva Toikka.
Downy Chick was only made in year 1998-2000 and was sold only as a mail order bird. It is rarely seen for sale these days.
The bird is opaque white with a slightly dimpled pattern under the shiny surface. This one has a lilac beak.
You find Downy Chick on page 99 in the new book "Toikan Lasilinnut -Toikka's Glass Birds". Also its mother, Happy Chicken, was for sale on Mail Order in years 1998-2000.
