A handsome Crake by Oiva Toikka with delicate white and brown filigree on clear glass and with a bright green head. The bird is called "Huitti" in Finnish. This quite rare bird was in production year 1998-2002 for mail order only. It was made in the legendary glass hut in Nuutajärvi Finland.
You find this model on page 57 in the book "Birds by Toikka" and on page 88 in the book "In Oiva's Wonderland" and on page 106 in the book "Toikan Lasilinnut-Toikka's Glass Birds".
