A handsome Crake by Oiva Toikka with delicate white and brown filigree on clear glass and with a green head. The bird is called "Huitti" in Finnish. This rare bird was in production 1998-2002 for mail order. It was produced in the legendary glass hut in Nuutajärvi Finland.
You find this model on page 57 in the book "Birds by Toikka" and on page 88 in the book "In Oiva's Wonderland" and on page 106 in the new book "Toikan Lasilinnut-Toikka's Glass Birds".
