A set of two Candle holders by Tapio Wirkkala.
The glass has a champagne tone to it.
The design, with its elegant soft lines, radiates a graceful peacfulness. These candle holders are just waiting to hold slowly burning candles again! They weigh over half a kg each so they stand steadily.
These Candle holders were designed in the -50s and were in production in 1954-1971 at Iittala glass factory. There are small remnants of the Iittala stickers seen at the lower border of the foot of the Candle holders. See close up views.
These Candle holders have only very minor normal wear due to age. Inside the glass there are occasional inborn small impurities.
Both Candle holders are signed TAPIO WIRKKALA IITTALA 3412.
They are sold as a pair.
