This is a Catcher that was made to celebrate the 215th Anniversary of Nuutajärvi glass factory in 2008.
Design by the famous professor Oiva Toikka and hand made in Nuutajärvi Finland. It is red with blue wings and a green tail and a lustered beak.
This handsome bird is illustrated on page 155 in the book "Toikan Lasilinnut - Toikka's Glass Birds" and on page 86 in the book "Birds by Toikka", also on page 103 in the book "In Oiva's Wonderland".
