This is a special Bulrush Curlew bird design for Amazon in year 2006. The head is luster and the pattern on its beige body is golden lustered and the beak is black. Kaislakuovi was also made for mail order distribution in year 2004-2006 but these have less of the luster pattern than this very rare variant of about 100 pieces that was made for Amazon. This one is described on page 138 in the new book "Toikan Lasilinnut - Toikka's Glass Birds".
The design is by famous professor Oiva Toikka and the bird is hand made in legendary Nuutajärvi glass factory in Finland. This individual is signed O.T. II Nuutajärvi.
