This Catcher was made to celebrate the 215th Anniversary of Nuutajärvi glass factory in 2008.
Design by famous professor Oiva Toikka and hand made in legendary Nuutajärvi glass hut in Finland. It is red with blue wings and a green tail and lustered beak.
This handsome bird is described on page 155 in the book "Toikan Lasilinnut - Toikka's Glass Birds" and on page 86 in the book "Birds by Toikka", also on page 103 in the book "In Oiva's Wonderland".
