The red Bullfinch bird, designed by famous professor Oiva Toikka has been a very popular bird. It was in production starting 1994 at Nuutajärvi glass hut, and the production ceased 31.12.2019 at Iittala.
The bird is matte with a shiny black head.
This vintage Bullfinch individual is hand made in legendary Nuutajärvi factory and has features typical of those produced in the early days.
You can find the Bullfinch bird on page 38 in the book "Birds by Toikka" and on page 81 in "In Oiva's Wonderland".
