The red Bullfinch bird, designed by famous professor Oiva Toikka has been a very popular bird. It was in production starting 1994 at Nuutajärvi glass hut, and the production seased 31.12.2019 at Iittala.
This cute vintage Bullfinch individual is hand made in the legendary glass hut in Nuutajärvi village and has features typical of the early productions.
You can find the Bullfinch bird on page 38 in the book "Birds by Toikka" and on page 81 in "In Oiva's Wonderland".
