The red Bullfinch bird, designed by famous professor Oiva Toikka has been a very popular bird. It was in production starting 1994 at Nuutajärvi glass hut, and the production seased 31.12.2019 at Iittala.
The bird is matte with a shiny black head.
This cute vintage Bullfinch individual is hand made in the legendary glass hut in Nuutajärvi village and has features typical of those produced in the -90s. On the last pictures you can see this bird together with our present Female Bullfinch.
You can find the Bullfinch bird on page 38 in the book "Birds by Toikka" and on page 81 in "In Oiva's Wonderland".
