Alvar Aalto - Vase Lilac 15cm Kukka 3021 SPECIAL EDITION

This beautiful vase is of a special Lilac edition of the innermost piece of the popular Aalto Flower (3021) with four items (three bowls and a vase) that can be stacked inside each other forming a flower (height 17 cm when all parts are stacked). The other parts of the complete series were not produced in this color. This item was produced separately in Lilac.

The Aalto vases designed by famous architect Alvar Aalto have become an icon of Finnish design. The vases were first presented in 1936 and got much attention at the Paris World Fair in 1937. Since then different versions of Aalto vases have conquered the hearts of many generations world wide. They have been produced in several different sizes and colors. They represent a perfect example of Alvar Aalto's free flowing imagination.
