It has been produced in many sizes. The Savoy vase was first presented in 1936 and got much attention at the Paris World Fair in 1937. Since then the Aalto vase has conquered the hearts of many generations world wide. It has been produced in several different sizes and colors.
Still today it is hand made and mouth blown into a mold at the Iittala glass factory in Finland. The production of one vase goes through 12 work stages, and every single Aalto vase is unique.
