Alder Thrush is the Annual bird for year 2014. A white bird with multicolored patches. The brown-black spots are semilustred.
The design is by famous professor Oiva Toikka and the bird is hand made at Nuutajärvi glass factory in Finland.
You find this bird in the book "Toikan Lasilinnut - Toikka's Glassbirds" on page 179.
Last we show this bird together with the corresponding Annual Egg. From 2015 onwards the Annual Birds and Eggs were blown at Iittala glass factory.
