Kaj Franck was a pioneer in boldly using happy, energizing colors in Finnish glass design.The Trophys were in production at Nuutajärvi glass hut in 1968-1971. Several color combinations were produced. These items are called "Pokaali" in Finnish.
A special technique was used when combining the different color layers.
This Trophy is in a very good condition without ships or cracks. However it is not signed. The reason might be a color imperfection inside the glass. It is a thin lighter colored line shaped irregularity. It was hard to capture on photo.
