This is a Claritas art glass sculpture, designed by Timo Sarpaneva. It has black and white inside of clear glass and bubbles.
Claritas is latin, and means clear. The bubbles are individually made into the glass with a special technique.
The height and dimensions of the Claritas objects vary depending on the glassblower and these art pieces are truly one-of-a-kind showpieces.

Timo Sarpaneva (1926-2006), is one of Finlands most famous art glass designers. His pioneering glass work has received much recognition internationally and he has been awarded several times for his stunning art glass designs.
