A stunning vintage art vase object model 3900-42, polished crystal glass, design by Tapio Wirkkala (1915-1985). This object does not have any logos or engravings on it which ads to the value of this object. Many of the other items of this model have logos engraved in the glass as these objects were made as custom works.
The multitalented Finnish design genius designed in a wide range of different materials. Nature was a very important source of inspiration for Wirkkala as he spent a lot of time at his cottage in Lapland observing nature. At the Triennale exhibitions in Milan, Wirkkala von multiple Grand Prizes.
