Tapio Wirkkala Iceberg champagne Jäävuori

A fantastic Iceberg art glass vase in champagne colored crystal. Design by famous Finnish designer Tapio Wirkkala. Model number 3825. Cut crystal. This is a beautiful heavy and thick piece (ca 4,2kg = ca 9,2 pounds). This piece is in Good vintage condition, with very minor normal wear, minimal insignificant wear on the underside and only one rather inconspicuous nick at one spot on the side (see close up views).

Nature was a very important source of inspiration for Tapio Wirkkala. He spent a lot of time at his cottage in Lapland observing nature and especially water and ice through different times of the year. His creations reflect his great love for the nature in wilderness of Lapland.
