The illustration of the mug is based on Tove Jansson's book Moominland Midwinter from 1957, as well as the songbook Visor från Mumindalen from 1993. Within the illustration of the mug, Moomintroll and Moominmamma are sitting on the railing of the bridge, waiting for Snufkin, who returns from his long travels after winter.
The design for the illustrations on the mug is by Arabia’s Moomin mug designer Tove Slotte, based on the original illustrations of Tove Jansson.
The mug design is by Kaj Franck (Teema mug 0,3l).
