This impressive bird is the Spotted Sandpiper, the Annual Bird for year 2006 for SSKK book club. It is not so commonly seen for sale.
The base color is ivory and the bird has silver and golden metallic lustered spots that reflect light in a multitude of colors and a long luster beak. The head is transparent gray.
Design by famous professor Oiva Toikka and hand made in legendary Nuutajärvi glass factory in Finland.
