The Song Thrush was the second Annual bird in the Birds by Toikka history.
Designed by famous professor Oiva Toikka and hand made at Nuutajärvi for year 1997 as a quite limited edition compared to later Annual birds.
You find this model on page 90 in the "Birds by Toikka" book, and on page 94 in the new book: "Toikan Lasilinnut - Toikka's Glass Birds".
The last picture shows this bird together with another Song Thrush of ours. Each bird is very much an individual piece of art as you can see. They are of differnt size and the posture varies also a little. This bird has a grey cardigan and the other one has a bluish cardigan, and the color of their shawls varies also. Some individuals have greenish cardigans.
This little one with a grey cardigan and white shawl with lustred spots and golden lustred beak is really neat.
