This is the blue big Everlasting Flower, ("Ikikukka", Soilikki). It is designed by Heljä Liukko-Sundström. Beautiful blue Cape Primroses are hand painted on the lid. These big pots were in production in the 90:s in quite limited numbers.
There are two sizes of Everlasting Flowers. The smaller, 12 cm high Everlasting Flowers are more common. Those you find elsewhere on this site. This one is a little over 18 cm high, and the pot is dark blue and is 9cm high. On the last photo you can compare the sizes of the small ones and this one.
The Everlasting Flowers are very collectible as there are many different color variants to collect. There are pots in dark green, blue, turquoise or dark blue color, and the lids are decorated with common pot flowers such as saint paulias, tulips, cape primroses, anemones or bellflowers, and then further more there are color variants of each flower.
