A neat little Male Duck bird by famous professor Oiva Toikka, hand made at Nuutajärvi glass factory in Finland. The bird has a beige and white speckled body with shiny black breast, neck and shoulders, the head is green and the beak blue.
In the last picture you see this individual together with a couple of other individuals of the same species.
This bird was in production in years 1994-2005.
It is described on page 79 in the new book "Toikan Lasilinnut-Toikka's Glass Birds".
A new color variant of the Male Duck was introduced by Iittala in 2023, with brown speckled body, black breast, neck and shoulders, blue head and orange beak.
