This is a very rare vintage bird made for Turun Sanomat in year 1986.
It has a green-gray body, lustered back and tail and blue luster wings. The head is clear.
Design by famous professor Oiva Toikka and hand made in the legendary glass factory at Nuutjärvi.
In the old book, as well as in the newer book on Toikka's Glass Birds this rare bird is dated in the 90:s, but the individuals that we have seen of this species have all been dated 1986. So we believe that this rare bird was apparently designed the same year as the other two ducks for Turun Sanomat.
